Provisional Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani said regional uprisings can not be put out by public suppression.

Delivering his second Friday prayers sermon, Ayatollah Kashani criticized the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council’s stances in support of massacre of regional people.

Ayatollah Kashani said "being Muslim" is the axis of such uprisings with their flag being the Messenger of Allah, Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH).

“Certain groups of Muslim states raise vain claims instead of supporting people and preventing massacre of Muslims in Bahrain, Libya, Yemen and elsewhere,” he noted.

Ayatollah Mohammad Emami-Kashani also criticized the policies of the arrogant world in supporting the massacre of innocents in the Middle East.

He highlights the Islamic and popular nature of the recent revolutions in the Middle East region, saying that violence will not stop the uprisings.

The cleric lashed out at Arab states and the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) and said, “Those who are among the Muslim nations, instead of preventing the killing of the Muslim people of Bahrain, Libya, Yemen and other countries and supporting the people, talk nonsense.”

The senior cleric condemned the silence of Arab leaders on the massacre of the people of regional countries and said their silence shows their desperation and their fall from humanity.

Ayatollah Emami-Kashani also addressed the Western media's hue and cry over the resignation of Iranian Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi and his reinstatement by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

“Through such acts they intend to suggest there is division and conflict in the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he said, insisting that the Leader is above all institutions and all are “legally, religiously and morally” obliged to obey him.
