Interim Friday prayers leader of Tehran Hojjatoleslam Kazem Sediqi on Friday thanked Qum citizens for their warm welcome to Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei during his Qum visit.

Delivering his second Friday prayers sermon at Tehran University campus, Hojjatoleslam Sediqi assimilated Qum citizens' warm welcome to the Leader to that of people to the late Imam Komeini upon his home return in 1979.

"Such a welcome shows that Imam does not belong to a special guild and is for all people at large,' he said.

He said as Islamic Revolution Leader considered Qum and the seminary important, the people, the clergymen, Ulima, seminarians and theologians too took his visit as important, showing unprecedented welcome to him.

He also hailed President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to Lebanon and said the visit had a blessing for the Islamic Republic establishment.

"Enemies sanctioned us in a bid to pretend Iran is isolated but the visit showed that they are themselves isolated," he added.
