Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Sayyed Ahmad Khatami on Friday hailed Islamic Revolution Leader's visit to Qom, saying the 10-day trip practically disclosed false claims of the arrogance.

Delivering his second Friday prayers sermon, Ayatollah Khatami said the visit was also internationally highly meaningful as it proved futility of 17-month vain efforts of the world of arrogance and its low-graded followers in Iran to prove that seminarians are no longer attached to the system and jurisprudence.

He unveiled enemy ploys to harm religion and show that Islam is minus politics in a bid to eliminate religion from the government domain.

Commenting on situation in France, he said had one hundredth of what happens in France taken place in Iran, the arrogant mouthpieces would have magnified the problem thousands of times.

On situation in the US, he said based on latest statistics, as many as 139 banks went bankrupt in 2010. He then said as long as the US is arrogant in nature, there would be no talks with it.

Referring to conditions in Iraq, he said no one can observe ongoing conditions in Iraq and sit idle. 22 explosions occur in Iraq a day, killing or injured hundreds of people. It is clear that a well-calculated plot is at work because Iraqi people move in the direction to rescue the crisis-torn country. Problems in Iraq are getting solved.

Westerners wish to make Iraq insecure in a bid to realize their own wishes, he concluded.
