Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that those thinking of crippling Iranian nation by sanctioning are doing something in vain.

"Enemies of Islam, Islamic Revolution and Iran failed to face the Iranian people by war and military intimidation. Now too, those thinking of bringing the nation into their knees through sanctioning are doing something in vain," Ayatollah Khamenei said in an address to large groups of people from Isfahan (central Iran) on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).

Congratulating the audience on the auspicious Eid-ul-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice), The Islamic Revolution Leader pointed to the repeated failures of the enemy and said it is impossible to fight with the altruistic Iranian people.

The Islamic Revolution Leader said faith and adherence to divine values are keys to Iranian nation’s success.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution warns against enemy plots to create a rift between the Iranian nation and officials, urging all to vigilance.

Ayatollah Khamenei said creating a rift in the nation, causing separation between the Iranian nation and officials and provoking suspicion and fights over trivial matters are a "ray of hope" for the enemy.

"Everyone must be alert with regards to such enemy moves," the Islamic Revolution Leader said.

Ayatollah Khamenei recalled the nation’s successfully foiling the post-election sedition plot last year.

"Having relied on their faith and wisdom and having well recognized time exigency, Iranian nation reached a new stage of their life and gained a fresh vigor to attain their final goal," Islamic Revolution Leader said.

Ayatollah Khamenei noted that some figures perform in line with the enemies' interests and try to compensate for the failed propaganda by of the Americans and Zionists but the Iranian nation knows well that such moves are clear conspiracies.
