Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said Friday that the world of Islam must learn to get united in Eid al-Fitr ceremonies, adding that the Muslim nations should draw their ranks closer to one another by bearing in mind that the sole path to counter against the force of enemy was to establish a united front of Islamic Ummah.

Ayatollah Khamenei was speaking to a large gathering of authorities and people as well as foreign ambassadors of Muslim states in a post-prayers Eid al-Fitr meeting Friday.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the solid ranks of Muslim in the prayers ceremonies worldwide embodied a gesture of humbleness towards God and a sign of spiritual and heartfelt bond among Muslims.

"This united rank of Islamic ummah must also be established for other issues relevant to the world of Islam so that the synergy of thoughts and efforts would help Muslims to stand efficiently in the face of the immense force of enemies of Islam," Ayatollah Khamenei encouraged.

Ayatollah Khamenei noted that the force of enemy harbors an enmity for the total Muslim population worldwide and that it is wrong to perceive the force has cordial ties with some part of Islamic world and has grudge for another.

"The enemy force runs counter to the very Islam since the latter has issued a call to resistance against the bullies," the IR Leader added.

The Islamic Revolution Leader then appreciated an increasing awakening in the Islamic Ummah and called the Muslim vigilance in the Palestinian issue as evidence, adding that the great Iranian nation has stood model for other Muslim nations by keeping open eyes to the world developments.

Ayatollah Khamenei then appreciated the Iranian nation's massive turnout in the International Quds Day march last Friday and called it a proof the nation pays a due attention to Muslim problems.

"This is the very path set up by the revered Imam Khomeini. No threats or hostility might be able to make the nation to relinquish the path," the IR Leader said.
