Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that the Iranian nation will demonstrate their vigilance, foresight and sagacity on the run-off general election.
The Islamic Revolution Leader made the remarks in a meeting with thousands of enthusiastic teachers marking Teachers Day.
Ayatollah Khameni praised the lofty status of teachers in society and highlighted their significant role in educating the generations to come.
Ayatollah Khamenei advised people from all walks of life, teachers and ministry of education to truly identify and appreciate the status of teachers who carry out a grave responsibility of education in the society.
The Islamic Revolution Leader also called for compilation of Comprehensive Strategy for Education and a timetable to implement it in due time.
He said that Ministry of education is expected to help establish a model Islamic society by bringing up the youth in line with advanced educational criteria.
Ayatollah Khamenei required the government and senior officials to give preferences to meet the needs of the Ministry of Education and draw up roadmap to enhance level of education to keep up with the modern needs of the society to science and technology.
On the upcoming run-off general election in Iran, Islamic Revolution Leader said the Iranian nation have always exercised vigilance in dealing with various issues like what they did during the first round of parliamentary election last month.
'Iranian nation is on the scene as they fully know their enemies. They are sagacious and will never let enemies achieve their hypocritical goals.'
Islamic Revolution Leader heralded promising prospects for the sagacious nation.
