'Iran will not relinquish its lawful rights'

Tehran's interim Friday Prayers Leader, Hojjat-ol-Islam Kazem Sedighi, has stressed that the Islamic republic of Iran will certain not relinquish its lawful nuclear rights during the upcoming negotiations with the 5+1 Group in Baghdad, Iraq.

Addressing a massive crowd of Friday prayers worshippers and the faithful in Tehran, Hojjat-ol-Islam Kazem Sedighi urged Western nations to acknowledge and recognize Iran's lawful nuclear rights and to undertake confidence-building measures. He pointedly added: "The policy of threats and coercion, hoping to dissuade Iran from using peaceful nuclear energy, has not worked, and is not likely to work".

Tehran's interim Friday Prayers Leader emphasized that Iran has done everything it can to build confidence and trust of the international community in its entirely peaceful and civilian nuclear activities, and it is now the time for Western countries to prove their bona fide intentions to reach a common ground, and to resolve this issue peacefully, through negotiations and dialogue.

In further remarks, Tehran's interim Friday Prayers Leader stressed that the IAEA is monitoring closely all of Iran's peaceful civilian nuclear activities , and that all of Iran's nuclear activities are completely transparent , and this can be presented to the world.

Turning to the US- Saudi, and Al-e-Khlifa regime plan to merge Bahrain into Saudi Arabia, Hojjat-ol-Islam Kazem Sedighi emphasized that the people of Bahrain, as well as regional countries, and Muslims worldwide will not let this conspiracy to be realized.
