Leader lauds public presence, faith in nation's victories

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei on Monday highlighted the role of public presence and spiritual faith in nation’s victories in different arenas.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the remark in a Monday meeting with a group of officials in charge of celebrating Dey 9 (December 30) event.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the public movement which culminated as the massive demonstrations on that day was a magnificent incident whose outcomes resembled those of the events happenings in the early days of the Islamic Revolution in the country over three decades ago.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution referred to the element of "public presence" as the great heritage of the founder of the Islamic Republic in Iran the late Imam Khomeini.

Ayatollah Khamenei further said the miraculous element which mobilizes people and persuades them to stay vigilant on the scene is the faith which is deeply rooted in their hearts.
