On Dec 30, 2009, millions of Iranian people staged rallies nationwide in support of the Islamic Republic establishment and the doctrine of Wilaya-te Faqih.
They took to the streets in a spontaneous move.
The marches helped douse a fire of western backed political sedition which broke out following the June presidential elections.
The doctrine of Wilaya-te Faqih stipulates an Islam-attuned democratic government running under the supervision of a devout, valiant, and shrewd Faqih.
The model of Islamic Republic in the past three decades has challenged a frustratingly faulty model of liberal democratic government.
