Tehran's interim Friday Prayer Leader, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, has noted that the Sacred Defense set the foundation for progress and development of Islamic Republic of Iran in different domains.
According to IRIB World Service, Tehran's interim Friday Prayer Leader, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, has congratulated the Sacred Defense Week, while noting that the Sacred Defense set the basis for the scientific, industrial, political, and military development of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He further underlined that Sacred Defense also secured the independence of the Islamic Iran and granted honor and strength to Islamic Republic of Iran such that today the defense and military might of Iran has fended off the enemies.
Tehran's interim Friday Prayer leader also praised the courageousness of the Sacred Defense war veterans, while noting that the shaping of Islamic awakening within the region is the outcome of the courageousness of the war veterans and is one of the blessings of the Sacred Defense.
Ayatollah Jannati pointed out that with divine blessings, the Islamic awakening is expanding, while the dictators are toppled one after the other and the justice-seekers are gaining victory.
Tehran's interim Friday Prayer leader also lauded the resistance and steadfastness of the people of Bahrain, while denouncing the brutal crackdown of the Bahraini revolutionary people, especially the Bahraini women, by the Aale Khalifa regime.
In further remarks, Ayatollah Jannati referred to the banking offense in Iran, and underlined that Islamic Republic of Iran's Judiciary should study this case in a resolute manner and should punish the related convicts.
