Tehran’s interim Friday Prayer Leader, Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani, said that the topic of Mahdaviyat, or waiting for the reappearance of Savior of mankind, Imam Mahdi (May God Hasten His Reappearance) leads to unity and solidarity of Muslims.

He congratulated the birth anniversary of the 12th Infallible Imam of the Prophet of Islam, Mohammad (PBUH) Household, Imam Mahdi (MGHHR), while underlining that Mahdaviyat is the source of unity among Muslims.

Ayatollah Emami Kashani criticized a number of Ulema, affiliated to the Saudi Arabia, due to their propaganda against Mahdaviyat, while calling on Muslims to get further united and to close ranks.

Tehran’s interim Friday Prayer leader also noted that the culture of waiting for reappearance of the Savior of mankind, Imam Mahdi (MGHHR) is stronger among Shiites, while pointing out that understanding the future, choosing the future, and acting for the future are three important principles of Mahdaviyat.

Elaborating further on the topic of Mahdaviyat, Tehran’s interim Friday Prayer leader referred to a religious narration or Hadith, while emphasizing that at the time of reappearance of Savior of Mankind, Imam Mahdi (MGHHR), he is the only one who has the first and last says within the global rule.

In further remarks, Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani also referred to the prominent role and status of Velayat-e Faqih or Governance of Supreme Jurist in the sacred Islamic system, while underscoring that to counter and tackle the problems and challenges facing Iran, complete unity and solidarity is the main principle.
