Interim Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani said the root cause of all problems and backwardness of the world of Islam is its failure to define Koranic concepts and put them in action in life.
Delivering his second Friday prayers sermon at Tehran University campus, Ayatollah Kashani pointed to conspiracy of certain powers and governments to present distorted Islam to the world.
"The governments compromised with the West, getting clergymen and authors along with themselves in a bid to change God's religion and Koranic concepts and meanings and showcase a half-alive and ineffective Islam to the world."
