Provisional Friday prayers leader of Tehran, Hojjatoleslam Kazem Seddiqi, said on Friday that the message of the 33rd anniversary of Islamic revolution is that the revolution is now immune to all pressure as people are determined to attain their lofty goals.

Addressing thousands of prayers, he said the historic event which occurred on February 11th (22nd of Bahman) opened a new chapter for struggles of Muslim Ummah in fight with global arrogance under the wise leadership of late Imam Khomeini.

Late Imam Khomeini was the first who spread the idea of the Islamic Awakening through denouncing eastern and western hegemonic powers, the Friday prayers leader of Tehran added.

All scientific breakthroughs achieved after the triumph of 1979 Islamic Revolution in the fields of science, industry, nuclear, medical and satellites should be considered as miracles which were materialized during Islamic revolution in Iran, he said.

Iranian nation are familiar with the tone and literature of arrogant powers and never give up by repeated threats such as tough sanctions or war, Hojjatoleslam Seddiqi added.

You have once before tested the Iranian nation during the 1980-88 Iraqi imposed war against Iran and found out that they never give up under any circumstances, he said addressing the arrogant powers.

Hojjatoleslam Seddiqi called on the nation to play an active role in the upcoming parliamentary elections in order to defend the territorial integrity of their motherland.

Elsewhere in his sermon, interim Friday prayers leader of Tehran said that the Iranian nation will thwart these sanctions under the wise leadership of their Supreme Leader.

He said that the Islamic Revolution is the root cause of the Islamic Awakening in the region, adding that the Iranian nation will back people in the region (mainly the oppressed people of Bahrain) who suffered much pain in the past year.
