Enemies lagging behind fast advancing Iran

Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei told a large gathering of Basij forces Sunday in Qom city that enemies of the Islamic Republic appear to be lagging behind the fast advancing Iranian nation and thereby they resort to massive propaganda to play down the recent magnificent advances of the Islamic Iran.
Ayatollah Khamenei noted however that unlike the desire of the enemies, the Iranian nation would continue the irreversible progress towards a bright future.
Ayatollah Khamenei described the Basij as a divinely assisted phenomenon which took shape out of thought and practice of the unparalleled personality of the contemporary history, Imam Ruhollah Mousawi Khomeini "who used to believe in the might of God and in the same mood, he trusted people until the Islamic Revolution incredibly got victory after people took to the scene."
The IR Leader said the Basij must live up to three requirements, namely acquisition of political insight, sincerity and timely and adequate practice. Ayatollah Khamenei lauded the public force for promoting its ability and insight amid complicated enemy ploys, particularly during the last year's seditious upheavals.
The IR Leader in the same regard noted that personalities are not a safe stand to rely upon in discerning or identifying the truth rather there have been times when even distinguished figures have gone astray. "Truth can be discerned and identified by insight," Ayatollah Khamenei added.
The Islamic Revolution Leader then quoted Imam Khomeini as saying that if he had abandoned Islam, people would have turned their back to him, and by the quote, he concluded that Islam provides the parameter for distinguishing the truth from the falsehood.
Ayatollah Khamenei identified sincerity as another code of conduct for Basij, adding that sincerity has been achieved one an individual only seeks the satisfaction of God, free from any personal, partisan, or familial reservations.
Ayatollah Khamenei added: "One of the ways of understanding issues correctly is to see what program and agenda the enemy follows."
"Today, one of the main lines of the enemy's agenda within the soft war is to show the country's realities upside down," he said.
Referring to the enemy's broad propaganda to show the real scene of Islamic Iran inverted, the IR Leader stressed: "This shows the enemy's weakness and their failure in front of the great and speedy movement of the nation."
"Of course, this propaganda has increased in recent years because the officials and the government have pursued the slogans of the Revolution more strictly and seriously; and the line of Imam and Islamic Revolution and working for people is much more remarkable," he added.
Regarding foreign policy, he said that opponents of the Islamic system and some masters of the last year's sedition once said amid election campaigns that Iran had become debased and disreputable while today the reputation of the Islamic Republic of Iran among the world's nations not only has not declined but also has increased.
The IR Leader considered the unique welcome of the Lebanese people to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran as an example of this reality, stressing: "This magnificent welcome will not take place for any president of a country anywhere in the world."
"Today if the prominent officials of the Islamic system visit any Islamic country and the atmosphere is left open for people, a welcome similar to that of the Lebanese people will take place," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
He regarded these issues as grandeur and dignity of the Iranian nation, adding: "If the government was a government cut off from people and was not supported by millions of determined youths, definitely such an event would not happen in Lebanon."
"The unstoppable movement of the Iranian nation in the line of Islam and Quran promises a bright and progressive future for the Islamic Iran and this issue will affect the Islamic world and cause further awakening of Muslim nations," the IR Leader said.
