Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani called on Iranian and all Muslim nations to pay special attention to the World Quds Day.
"Iranian and Muslim nations should pay special attention to the World Quds Day. Any significance given to the day will help strengthen Palestinian nation and their stances, not allowing enemies to swallow the nation," said Ayatollah Kashani in his second Friday prayers sermon.
Ayatollah Kashani said today’s world, in which religion, justice, security, service and treason are interpreted and defined from the angle of nuclear warheads, swallows the weak.
Ayatollah Kashani voiced deep regret over a killer flood in Pakistan, saying that the 'unprecedented' catastrophe ruined 75 percent of residential units, schools, universities and inter-city roads, putting the flood-stricken people in the worst conditions.
He urged Iranian people to rush aid to the Pakistani flood-torn citizens.
